Maintenance outage

Mecrus recently completed a major maintenance outage on Murray Goulburn’s steam plants at Cobram and Leongatha.

The annual shutdown is part of Mecrus’ responsibility under its round-the-clock operation and maintenance contract with MG to provide steam over the fence at both milk processing factories.

The operation involved managing the shutdown of the steam plants, maintenance of the asset and a statutory inspection of the pressure vessels.

The outage was completed in accordance with critical production timelines and without injury.
